Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS)

Nowadays, the modern machinery works with a high level of reliability. Perhaps for this reason, the preventive maintenance jobs are not often taken into account. However, high productivity machines need an adequate care and a regular preventive maintenance, in order to avoid non-planned stops and to cut costs in corrective repairs.

P. Cruz’s PMS plans periodic visits for the preventive maintenance of its machines.

P. Cruz’s SMP defines the periods of maintenance: 1 visit per year, machine and shift work which is carried out by specialized technicians. It is usually finished in two days.

P. Cruz’s SMP gives a written report of the visit about the condition of the machine with advices in order to carry them out.

P. Cruz’s SMP checks the main components and functions of the machine:

• Mechanics: System of lubrication, guides, joints, scrapers and protections are cleaned and inspected. It is checked the level, the square and the alignment.
• Electricity: Engines, controllers, electronic equipments and ignitions are cleaned, checked and adjusted if it is necessary.
• Filters and liquids: Filters are cleaned or changed and liquids are refilled or changed (the client has to pay them if it is necessary to change them and also the recycling of waste products).
